Amazingly, the nation's 9 billionaires account for a whopping 82% of
that RM 95.4 billion sum. The man at the top, Robert Kuok, has been
Southeast Asia's richest man for years. He has topped
Malaysian 40 richest men list for the third consecutive year.

The average age in this 40 richest man list is 60 years old. Datuk
Vinod Sekhar with the age of 37 from Petra Group is the yougest of all.
Oldest in the list age 88 is Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong from Genting Group.

Women?

The only women in this list is Puan Sri Chong Chook Yew from Selangor

The most apparent changes of the list compare with previous year is
Public Bank Berhad's Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow and IOI Group's Tan Sri Lee

Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. Quek Leng Chan and Lim Goh Tong used to be in the
top 4 together with Robert Kuok and Maxis's Ananda Krishnan.

Self made or inherited?

Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow and Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng are first generation
who create the wealth themselves. Robert Kuok and Quek Leng Chan are
